No. 57 Keanu pays homage to John Wick and other role that Keanu Reeves has played, bringing together all of them with the note of tobacco to represent Keanu himself. 

Wick is moved to mayhem after his dog is killed (evil!). John Wick, patron saint of dogs is portrayed by the cool breeze himself, a low talker, genetically gifted Keanu Reeves. 

Keanu himself became a dog dad in 2021. Being the ultimate version of what a devoted dog parent would do and  thus we pay homage to the Patron Saint of Canine Kids. 

This one took various it iterations over two years to get right, so I'll proudly include this review from top five perfume rating website Fragrantica.com:

Keanu Reeves is my hero, so it makes sense that I would like a candle dedicated to him and his character, John Wick'sdog. No. 57 Keanu conjures wood-paneled studies, replete with leather wingback chairs and the lingering aromas of pipe ash, morning espressos, and afternoon Earl Grey teas brought there by the butler. Whiskey & Woof candles are a new find for me, and I prefer them to the ubiquitous Bath & Body Works candles that screech from fifty feet away, filling a whole house, and which I can only burn for twenty minutes before acquiring a headache. W&W No. 57 Keanu doesn't scream like thrash metal; it vibes and thrums like a brooding, introspective jazz record. Much like Keanu himself. - Beth Butterfield 10/04/24

This review makes me very proud of this scent story. The first time it was created as a memorial candle, the next iteration was a rockstar's bridal party, followed by a birthday candle. Each time, the formula was changed and continued to get that much better until finally it was exactly what I personally felt could be permanently part of my offerings, an ode to Keanu and his character, John Wick, aka the patron saint of dogs (IMHO.) Research was done, notes were varied the Keanu note touches included tobacco and fresh coffee, as well as pomegranate bitters. 

This magical blend's notes:
Top: Bergamot, Saffron & Florals

Middle: Tobacco, Pomegranate, & Sweet Anise

Base: Tonka Bean, Fresh Coffee, Cedar & Vetiver

Wick runs on adrenaline and whatever else an underground doctor can do to patch him up well enough to beat the competition. Naturally the extra coffee hit is a limited salve, but it wakes up the senses. 

Sweet Anise helps Neo with his depression. Choose scents that tell stories. No. 57 Keanu was developed over two years to come together and is as timeless as the bond between Neo and Trinity, so it had to be a dark grey to black color. Due to the nature of candles, colors may vary from one batch to another.

Product Tips:

Controlling the strength of your reed diffuser is surprisingly simple and can be achieved by manipulating the number of reeds. When you first set up your diffuser, start with about half the total reeds included in the package - typically 3-4 reeds for a standard-sized vessel. If you want a more subtle fragrance, use fewer reeds, which will reduce the amount of scented oil that gets dispersed into the air. Conversely, if you desire a more intense aroma, gradually add more reeds until you reach your desired scent level. Just be sure to add or remove reeds carefully, using clean hands or gloves to avoid getting oil on your skin, and always place the reeds gently to prevent splashing the fragrant liquid.

Beyond reed management, there are several additional tips to maximize your reed diffuser's performance and longevity. Periodically flip the reeds (every week or two) to ensure even oil distribution and refresh the scent - but do this over a sink to catch any potential drips. Keep your diffuser away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and air vents, which can cause the oil to evaporate more quickly. If your diffuser seems to be losing potency, try replacing the reeds entirely, as they can become saturated and less effective over time. Most high-quality rattan or fiber reeds will work well, but avoid using the same set for more than a few months. Lastly, when you want to change scents or give your space a break, simply remove the reeds and wash the vessel thoroughly before starting a new fragrance.
