Whiskey & Woof candles and scents are inspired by humans' best companions — for those who seek the finer things, at home and on the road. Good company is always close at hand, in a trusted canine who plays explorer, comic relief, and confidante in equal measure.
My mission was to create a sophisticated ambiance that speaks to all genders. As a member of the British Bourbon Society and a woman in tech, I'm often the only woman in the room. On a trip from London to New York, I arranged a meetup with our French bulldogs for drinks at Kings County Distillery. That's where the idea first occurred to me, watching my beloved Frenchie, Elle, and the community of friends she brought into our lives.
It pushed me to explore scents traditionally coded as masculine, like musks and bourbons, and bring them into candle form. After extensive trials with testers of all genders, across different parts of the globe, bourbon lovers and dog people alike, I landed on four candle scents and one unisex fragrance: unique combinations, hand-poured with the best ingredients available.
All materials are sourced in the US, from North Carolina, Brooklyn, Texas, and California. Sustainability guided every choice. Fragrances are phthalate-free, and I use a coconut wax blend.
