Nail Polish I Shimmer

1920s and 30s:
French makeup artist Michelle Manard is credited with creating the first modern liquid nail polish in the 1920s, inspired by automobile paint and using nitrocellulose. As a result, Revlon introduced its first opaque nail enamel in 1932. The "lunar manicure," where the base of the nail was left uncolored, became popular in the 1920s and 1930. And guess who they used to popularize the color? New York's own Rockettes.
1970s:
The "French manicure," with a natural-looking base and white tip, was created in Paris by Jeff Pink, the founder of ORLY

1980s-present:
Nail painting regained popularity in the 1980s and has been a major part of fashion and beauty trends ever since. The 21st century has seen innovations like long-lasting gel polishes, hybrid polishes, and press-on nails
