I lived in London for over four years, returning to the US in late 2018. My dog and muse, Elle, loved to go for long walks at Kensington Palace Gardens. We were there when The Duchess of Sussex met Prince Harry and throughout the wedding, therefore it was natural to me to develop a scent inspired by that time period.
Meghan Markle is also a dog mom who has had several rescue dogs. Today she and her husband resigned as senior members of the Royal Family in order to pursue their own independant pursuits spending half their time in America and half in England.
Having lived in quarters, surrounded closely by living quarters for other family members and servants at The Palace must have felt very restrictive and I'm personally not of the mindset, this is anything but good for their son especially with Harry's own experience and wanting to make this change.
There will no be a name or a number change to No. 6 Duchess out of respect. It's one of Whiskey & Woofs most popular scents and inspiration is inspiration.
Thank you for continuing to embrace this growing line of scented products.
