For six months No. 26 Nolita has piqued your interest and was made exclusively available at Kiehl's Concept Store at 223 Mulberry Street, NYC.
As the first brand selected in the US, third globall as part of their Locally Made Initiative, it has been an incredible gift to see this new scent become the favorite of the current three available and now it is time for our loyal online clients to experience Nolita first hand. Our standard 8 oz pricing has been reduced at an introductory price as a reward for that patience.
When a lavender candle was requested during 2020, it was not on my radar to develop. I thought that so many other brands were already providing lavender in various formats. Then I took a go at developing it because as one client put it "I want the Whiskey & Woof version of a lavender." Thus Serenity Now was born, which felt right at the time. However it was a scent that never quite like part of the family for me, despite its popularity so when I won the Kiehl's pitch, it wasn't in the deck as the exclusive scent. I pitched a calendula blend because some of favorite Kiehl's products are from that line.
The Global Team in Paris requested a lavender scent option since that is in many of their best sellers including their Midnight Oil, another one of my favorites. A third option was also created with everyone agreeing the clear winner was the lavender, leather and whiskey combination now known as No. 26 Nolita. The lavender represents Kiehl's, the leather for the downtown chic of the area the Concept Store is in of Nolita and the whiskey represents this brand. It finally feels like I created a lavender that fits in with the rest of Whiskey & Woof scented products.
