June sees more need for calm and light in the world. Though my father passed several years ago, his impact is felt strongly as I develop Whiskey & Woof. He knew every shortcut imaginable so driving with him was always fun.
He also taught me to listen and help others. The past couple of weeks have been the hardest of quarantine. New York City is one of the last places in the state to be heading towards reopening (June 8th begins Phase One.) This week it was a welcome honor to have been entrusted to create a custom order for summer interns at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. The name of the scent could be nothing but EQUALITY.
After posting a photo on Instagram, clients asked how they could get one. In order to this in a thoughtful way, 25% of proceeds from this candle will be donated to https://8cantwait.org which is focused on eliminating forceful detentions.
In honor of the fathers who have passed, including my own, the new ones, the anything-but-traditional ones, every dad who knows how much men love candles too, Enter the Father's Day bundles:
