As daylight hours grow shorter and storms start brewing, the cooler temperatures that accompany them make for long walks with your furry best friends for longer adventures outside.
Every time I walk past Washington Square Park, I have to pop by the small dog park to touch the NY Frenchie Crew dedication "past, present and future, for the dogs and humans that became family." It was organized by Lola Barksdale's parents about a decade ago. What a great group we had and so I was delighted when a dappled Pomeranian approached me for a "dog tax" petting and acknowledgement. She had pure star quality and knew it. Her two siblings hovered nearby but knew she was the HBIC.
Autumn allows for new scents, raw and dying to come together. A picnic in fall and a drive upstate to see the changing leaves gives me so much scent inspiration it's incredible. October 3rd and 4th I'll be debuting two new scents at the FAD Market in DUMBO's Empire Stories. at 55 Water Street from 11-6 PM both days. *Heads up for Saturday there is a private music festival that begins at 2 PM so there will be a lot of people in the area.
I haven't decided whether to add the new scents to the store online. They are 3.5 oz candles in amber glass jars with a gold screw top, so stay tuned. I bought the glass with the specific idea of markets, leaving the premium ones at home however holiday market pricing has soared this year. These scents are intended as stocking stuffers vs. the discovery gift sets of 2 oz x 3 votives.
A very big thank you to the people who bring up and suggest Whiskey & Woof for corporate gifting. I'm currently working on a custom project for a well respected television outlet (I'll tell you when it's all done) and that scent will be added to the website in November.
