All our candles are made with eco-friendly cotton wicks and are phthalate-free, making them a vegan-friendly option. To keep your burns clean, please trim the candle wick between burns to 1/4" of an inch. Please do not pick up the hot glass to blow out the candle, as it can cause burns.
To optimize your candles, let the first burn last until there is a liquid pool from side-to-side of the vessel. Wax has a memory. It will not burn wider than the first burn without assistance that can be messy and potentially harmful. This small step should take from 30 minutes to 2 hours.
Let the candle rest. Subsequent burns should last 3 to 4 hours. Why? Biology. Nose blindness happens after that period of time to allow your nose to alert you to other scents. Remember to trim the wick before you light it the next time you burn it. That helps to keep the burn clean and reduce any excess soot from the wick. Darling, you do have to help along any candle to remain a clean burn no matter the wax type.
